LISA PARKER, FOUNDER, PRESIDENT & LEAD RECRUITER

Lisa began her career in advertising and marketing, working at some of the country’s top firms – Ogilvy & Mather Direct, Wunderman Cato Johnson, Grey Direct and American Express, among others.

After 14 years in that business and 2-1/2 years as a stay-at-home Mom, Lisa embarked on a new career in recruiting and realized the overlap in skills between marketing and recruiting. She used it to her advantage to build Parker Placements NY, Inc. more than a decade ago. Before embarking on her new venture as a business owner, Lisa spent years on the agency side of the business learning and honing her skills as a recruiter before moving client side.

What sets Parker Placements apart from so many other firms, is that it puts a spin on recruiting by focusing on personalities as well as business skills, when interviewing both candidates and corporate clients.  All of Lisa’s experience and research pointed to the importance of a personality match (in addition to a skills match) when successfully placing candidates.  This led her to the development of the personality approach, the key to turning potential into promise.

KATIE SALVI, CORPORATE RECRUITER

Following her graduation from Carnegie Mellon University, Katie began her career in the corporate art world. She developed her skills at Sotheby’s and Christie’s auction houses, and later at ESKart LLC, where she assisted the curator of esteemed corporate and private art collections. Her work involved many aspects of collection management including liaising with an international network of auction houses, museums, galleries, curators, dealers, artists, and experts. She also assisted with purchases and sales of artwork, coordinated appraisals, and assisted with corporate art programs. Katie’s professional experience also includes work in new business development, marketing, design, writing, and editing.

As a Corporate Recruiter, Katie brings her own unique, multifaceted understanding of many different industries. In addition, she is able to identify and nurture individual candidates and hone in on their strengths and skills that will complement corporate clients.

JOE ROMANO, CORPORATE RECRUITER

No stranger to the world of corporate recruiting, Joe learned the business working for a family-owned boutique employment agency. Having been mentored by some of the best Senior Recruiters at Professional Resource Solutions and RSVP Personnel, he learned the importance of integrity in business. This led him to take the long-term, big picture approach that is necessary for success. During his career, Joe placed candidates at all levels in Accounting, Finance, Sales, IT, Project Management, and more. After several years of experience working in the recruiting industry, Joe joined the world of training. His years spent training helped him to hone the skills of assessing, training, and motivating employees, as well as providing career guidance. Joe now brings his unique skills set to Parker Placements as a Corporate Recruiter. His experience on both sides of the business gives him a unique ability to match the right candidate with the right opportunity.

HEATH WEBER, CORPORATE RECRUITER

With more than 25 years of experience in corporate and agency settings, Heath has led integrated marketing and communication efforts across a wide range of industries—including healthcare, insurance, pharmacy, tech, telecom, banking, and consumer packaged goods. His roles have consistently required building and nurturing relationships with diverse stakeholders, from clients and vendors to media partners, sales teams, and internal departments. These experiences sharpened his ability to manage complex, detail-heavy initiatives within matrixed organizations, demanding strong planning, organization, and communications skills. Today, Heath brings that same strategic mindset—and his laid-back, inquisitive nature—to Parker Placements, where he’s focused on finding smart, effective solutions for both clients and candidates.
